Published August 16. 2010 05:00PM

The Tamaqua Area Community Partnership (TACP) announced that the volunteer organization has just created its own channel of YouTube.

At present, the channel offers brief views on community development from 13 individuals, some of whom serve as volunteers on the TACP board and others who are affiliated with the work of the partnership.

The videos were produced by VideoWorks Productions Company, a division of RAD Communications, Pine Grove. VideoWorks is an award-winning video producter specializing in creating web-based video, or webisodes.

According to spokesperson Linda Yulanavage, "We are fortunate to have such capable people working together as volunteers helping to create a brighter future for our community. The YouTube channel offers each of our participants in this communications outreach the opportunity to share his or her unique point of view regarding how to work together to improve Tamaqua's quality of life."

The 13 individual video interviews may be seen online via the Tamaqua Area Chamber of Commerce's website at or at
