Golden Agers

The next meeting of the Panther Valley Golden Agers will be an indoor picnic at St. Joseph's Hall in Summit Hill. A reminder to those who previously registered for the picnic that it starts at 1 p.m. Bingo and games will be played.

At the Aug. 9 meeting, 11 July and August birthday celebrants were recognized and seated around a table with a summer theme. Nancy Conzoneri and Martha Ciarvella did the decorating.

Happy Birthday was sung by the group. Alex Shereba sang his birthday greeting, wishing all many happy years. He was recognized for his 90 birthday

Tony Zahora was the winner of the floral arrangement donated by Porvaznik Florist. The Medicine Shop donated gifts. Ruth Ann Feane led the singing of summer songs.
