Published August 12. 2010 05:00PM

It's time for the Zoo Crew's 12th. Annual Zoostock, which is a free concert held on Labor Day.

This year's event takes place on Monday, Sept. 6 from noon until 8 p.m. on the grounds of the Sports Zoo/Halftime Sports Bar at the West End of Lansford.

It is held rain or shine and concert goers are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or a blanket.

Proceeds benefit the Carbon-Tamaqua Unit of the American Cancer Society. Last year's combined Zoo Crew events enabled the Crew to present the ACS with $23,000 during the annual televised telethon.

There will be food, beverages, entertainment, souvenir T-shirts and wristbands as well as activities for the kids.

This year's scheduled entertainment includes Kathy Rimm, Colin Jones, Cody Scott, Brad and Luke and the Jersey Cartwrights, Story of Another, Cameltoe, Asking Andy and YMI.

Ann Marie Calabrese of Coolbreeze Imaging and host of "Stuck in the '80s" on Penn's Peak will serve as emcee.
