RSVP looking for volunteers

The Pennsylvania Senior Corps RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program) is looking for volunteers who are interested in making a difference in the community services that are available in Carbon County.

Volunteers are badly needed to help as donor aides or canteen aides on the days of bloodmobile visits at the Miller-Keystone Blood Center collection sites located throughout Carbony County. Those willing to volunteer will be alble to choose the site closest to their homes.

Other volunteer opportunities include delivering meals to individuals confined to their homes in the Palmerton and Panther Valley areas, delivering meals with the Lehighton Meals on Wheels program, serving as library aides in the Panther Valley area and working as Ombudsmen and APPRISE members for the Carbon County Area Agency of Aging.
