Juveniles steal motorcycles

Two area juveniles were charged after they stole two motorcycles in Summit Hill.

According to borough police on July 23 police received a call from a resident at 462 W. White St., stating that two motorcycles had been stolen from his property sometime during the evening.

An attempt to locate the bikes was put out to all local police departments.

Coaldale police stopped two individuals coming out of the woods riding motorcycles that fit the stolen bikes descriptions. The two motorcycles were impounded.

An investigation revealed that the bikes were the stolen bikes.

The juvenile males, both 15 with one from Coaldale and one from Lansford, were charged through juvenile probation with theft by unlawful taking and defiant trespass.
