Theft of vehicle incidents probed

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating seven theft from vehicle incidents. Six of the seven occurred along Unionville Road, in Penn Forest Township, Carbon County.

The six vehicles were entered sometime between 9 p.m. on April 22 and 7:30 a.m. on April 23. Removed was various amounts of U.S. currency, cigarettes, and in one vehicle a digitial camera.

The seventh entry occurred at 567 Greenview Drive, Saylorsburg, Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County. Cody Michael Johnson, 19, reported his vehicle was entered and removed was personlle property along with damages done to the car. Estimated value and damages done was $120. The incident occurred sometime between 1 and 8 a.m. on Sunday, April 25.
