The Weatherly Hill Climb Association has presented a check in support of the Weatherly Pride Relay for Life Team.

In a meeting near the starting line of the annual auto sporting event, Association members Joe Cyburt and Richard Kane made the presentation to Relay for Life Team Captain Michele Connors.

This year, the Weatherly Hill Climb will be run on June 12 and 13th, and again, in September on the 18th and 19th with 80 to 100 cars expected for each two day event.

For the June event, there will also be a community-wide yard sale all weekend long which officials are hoping will have over 100 participants.

On the Friday nights prior to both the June and September events there will be a parade in the borough.

In June, for the first time, there will also be fireworks on Saturday night at dusk on the former Tung-Sol property near the site of the new Weatherly American Legion Home.
