Fishing derby benefits Juvenile Diabetes

A free fishing derby will be held on May 8 in memory of the late Connell McCall. Registration begins at 8 a.m. in the area of the Nesquehoning CVS parking lot and will be held at the Nesquehoning Creek. The benefit is going to Juvenile Diabetes.

There will be food and drinks available and every child registered will receive a prize. There will be a $250 Cabela's gift card presented for first place. Children from throughout the area are invited to the event. The derby is sponsored by the Nesquehoning Conservation Club.
