Stonehedge to hold art show, open house

Published April 23. 2010 05:00PM

An Open House Art Show, to benefit William Maldonado III, will be held today from 6 to 9 p.m. at Stonehedge Gardens in South Tamaqua.

Nine-month-old William was born with Heterotaxy Syndrome and multiple spines. He requires heart medication twice a day as well as daily antibiotics to ward off infection. He has already undergone two heart catheterizations and will need a heart/lung transplant in the future.

The public is welcome to join Baby Will and his mother, Kathy, along with artists Tracy Perry, Kim Grant and Roz Pena Rivera (KRT Art Therapy) for an evening of art, food and drink, beautiful gardens and friendship.

Any profit from the event will help defray the costs of ongoing medical needs.
