Post 123 donates to help JT Fishing Derby

American Legion Post 123 of Lansford has come to the aid of the upcoming Germantown Grove Club Fishing Derby for Special Needs Students with a donation of $500 to help get the derby back on track after a fish kill threatened to derail it. The check, which was presented to American Legion Post 304 in Jim Thorpe a co-sponsor of the event along with the Germantown Grove Club, will be used to purchase needed fish supplies. Present for the check presentation were, from left to right: Lansford Post 123 Vice Commander Dave Padora; Historian Jack Anderson; Commander Bill Coll; Jim Thorpe Post 304 Commander Cliff Gledhill; and Post 123 Home Association President Tim Midas.
