Dance with Kim students were recently selected for the 2010 "Power Pak" tour. IMPACT dance team students qualified for this special tour at a regional Starpower competition held in Philadelphia.

The dancers will have the opportunity to participate in an intense series of dance workshops with other young performers who were also hand-selected from across the country and Canada from regional competitions. "Power Pak" provides performers with classes from the most talented teachers and choreographers from around the world.

Performers are given the opportunity to audition for scholarships and audition for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line. The biggest accomplishment of the performers while on tour is the team-building skills they develop while learning choreography in four short days. They will perform the routine in Disney at the "Battle of the Stars" in front of over 3,000 spectators. The dancers have been fundraising all year to raise money for the trip.

Dance with Kim dancers will be performing in a benefit for Haiti April 30, at the Lehighton Park at 6 p.m. and at The Village in Palmerton at 7 p.m. on May 20 as well as other local venues.
