2010 Carbon Co. Expo at Penn's Peak

The two day event of the 2010 Carbon County Expo is now ongoing at Penn's Peak on the Maury Road in Jim Thorpe.
The Expo opened from 3 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20th and continues today.
Admission and parking are free and there are a lot of giveaways and free prizes for visitors,
The 58 vendors attending the Expo range from for-profit businesses to non-profit organizations offering attractions, health care, banks, attorneys, and everything in between.
According to Michael Heery, President of the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce, "the purpose of the event is to let people who live and work in the Carbon County area come out and see what is available right here."
"You don't have to drive 20, 30, 40 miles to find goods and services, we have them available right here in Carbon County."
Heery continued by saying that "this is a great place to showcase that. Its a beautiful venue here at Penn's Peak and we're inviting everyone to come up."
So, come to the Expo at Penn's Peak today, Wednesday, from 3 to 8 p.m and discover all that the Carbon County area has to offer.
