Six of the seven candidates seeking the position of state representative will attend a "meet the 122nd State Representatives Candidates" night at 7:15 p.m. tomorrow in the Mahoning Valley Fire Company.

The candidates want to fill the seat of longtime State Representative Keith McCall of Summit Hill, who announced he is not seeking re-election.

The event is being sponsored by the Lehighton 9/12 Project.

Confirmed as attending are Justin Yaich, John Wieczorek, Bruce Nalesnak, Doyle Heffley, Jeff Bobish, and Todd Koller.

MaryEllen Salerno, host of the event, said no response was received from candidate Robert Frycklund.

Heffley ran for the post against McCall two years ago.

Salerno said each candidate will speak for five minutes then take questions for five minutes.

She said candidates will be encouraged to remain after the event to talk with voters.
