Five persons were injured, one seriously,Saturday evening in a crash in a remotearea of West Brunswick Township, Schuylkill County. State police at Schuylkill Haven said John Daniel Sizelove, 26, of Brick, N.J., was driving a 2006 Volkswagen GTI southbound on Pine Creek Road and approaching Red Dale Road, about 6:45 p.m. and failed to stop for a stop sign. His vehicle entered the intersection and struck a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by Lauren Jones, 20, of Pottsville. Upon impact a passenger with Jones, Shelby Snyder, no age given, of Wiconisco, was ejected from the Jeep. She was flown from the scene by medical helicopter, troopers said, but did not indicate to what hospital. Jones was moderately injured, troopers added. Sizelove and passengers Edward J. Cox III, 29, of Toms River, N.J., and Rachel Lillian Kapelmer, 22, of Orlando, Fla., all sustained minor injuries, troopers added. Damages were disabling to both vehicles.
