Left, Theresa Yocum, president of the West End Rotary Club, hands a check for $300 to Mark Baylis, director of the Effort United Methodist Church Supplemental Food Pantry, center and Ann Marie Bauer, former director and volunteer, as a donation to the pantry. Baylis said they will be using it toward a sign that will help bring in more people who need help. The pantry is for those who are having difficulties keeping their heads above water in these hard economical times. Bauer said the pantry filled 83 banana boxes full of groceries for the Easter holiday and purchased $2,900 worth of groceries and gave away $5,000 worth this Easter. "We thank you for taking the time to raise funds and for donating some of it to us," said Baylis.
