Something new at the Tamaqua YMCA

Published April 13. 2010 05:00PM

After years of operating without its own headquarters, the YMCA has a physical presence in Tamaqua, making use of the former Jamesway store at the east end of the borough. This year, the organization held its first ever Easter Egg Hunt and continues its popular Jack 'N Jill preschool program.

This week will see something new at the Y, a demonstration of Scentsy products on Thursday evening. To learn more about this safe, wickless alternative to scented candles, visit the from 5 to 8 p.m. Any proceeds will benefit the Y's youth scholarship and other programs.

The public is welcome to attend.
