Pleasant Valley Choral Society will present "Spring Pops 10 at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 24; and at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at the Pleasant Valley High School, Route 209 Brodheadsville.

You must remember this....of course you do! All those Silly Love Songs of your youth that never fade As Time Goes By - the ones that take your spirit soaring up into those Blue Skies and remind you of the Green, Green Grass of Home.

Yes, we're on a Mission Impossible to bring back those Precious and Few memories that will take you back to Happy Days spent Down by the Riverside or perhaps Surfin' USA. Turn on the television and laugh along with The Addams Family, Mr. Ed and The Brady Bunch. And if all these songs are whispering You Make Me Feel Like Dancing, then just get up and do the Charleston, tap your toes to Tea for Two. or give A Wink and a Smile to your better half as you ask Could I Have This Dance. Join us as we are Reunited through those songs that made us Happy Together. After all, life is better when you Let The Sunshine In!

This year the Pleasant Valley Choral Society is celebrating its 27th year of providing quality music to Monroe County communities. Over the years, it has received high acclaim for its unique blend of musical standards from generations past and songs of the present. Members are drawn from communities all over the Monroe County, as well as nearby Carbon and Northampton counties. The true community chorus includes music lovers ranging from high school students to grandparents. Its mission is to bring culture and entertainment to the community by way of its diverse musical performances. Since the organization of PVCS in 1984, the chorus has been under the director of Pocono native Dorothy Mohr, who holds a Master's Degree in Music from West Chester University. Lindsey Blundetto adds her special touch at the keyboard, while Joe Franzo on bass and Bill Below on drums round out the accompaniment.

Over the years the Chorus has developed a large following who have come to expect traditional music done in an often non traditional and fun way.

The Chorus provides free cookies and punch in the lobby following each performance.
