Published April 06. 2010 05:00PM

A Tamaqua driver was injured in a one vehicle crash that occurred about 7:25 p.m. on March 30 along SR309, a half-mile south of Gun Club Road, in Lynn Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Corey Phillipeck, 22, of Dairy Rd., Tamaqua R.D., was driving a 2006 Pontiac G6 northbound and approached sudden snowy/slipper road conditions. The car went out of control spinning into the opposite lane, and then off the road striking the guard rail on the south side. The car then went back into the northbound lane where it came to rest.

Phillipeck complained of neck and back pain, troopers said. Damages were moderate to the car.
