A rear-end crash involved two motorcycles in Monroe County.

State police at Lehighton said Matthew R. Weaver, 26, of Bath, was driving a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja northbound on SR115, in Ross Township, about 12:30 p.m. on Sept. 20 when he slowed down to turn onto Meixell Valley Road. Frederick Morris, 26, of Pen Argyl, was behind him driving a 2003 Suzuki GSXR and did not stop, with the front of his bike hitting the rear of Weaver's cycle. Upon impact Morris was ejected from his bike and Weaver was knocked off his. Both sustained minor injuries.Damages were heavy to the front of Morris' bike and moderate to the rear of Weaver's. Both were wearing helmets and heavy jackets with padding, troopers noted.Troopers said Morris will be cited.
