September 24, 1993 Palmerton's defense stops freshman James Mungro of East Stroudsburg on a fourth-and-three inside the red zone with under a minute to play to preserve a 20-16 Centennial League win. Mungro runs for 171 yards on 24 carries in the contest but only gains two on the biggest play of the game. The Bombers, coached by Manny Guedes, receive touchdown runs from Kody Gildner, Mark Slivka and Jesse Rehus. Gildner runs for 90 yards while quarterback Chris Lucykanish throws for 111.
