LCCC receives US Department of Education CCAMPIS Grant

Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC) was recently awarded another Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant from the U.S. Department of Education. The four-year, $164,568 grant will provide child care scholarships for Pell-eligible students to enroll their preschool children in LCCC's Early Learning Center or subsidize the cost of child care services at off-campus child care facilities offering infant and toddler care or located near the college's off-campus sites. Parenting workshops will also be provided for CCAMPIS scholarship recipients.
