The engagement of Melissa Gimbor of Hummelstown, to Michael Crampsie of Summit Hill, has been announced by her mother Shirley Kirchdoerfer of Summit Hill.

The bride-to-be is a 2001 graduate of Panther Valley High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in 2005 from West Chester University, and a master of business administration this year, from Penn State University, Harrisburg, School of Business. She is currently enrolled in the Penn State College of Medicine where she is seeking a Ph.D. in pharmacology.She is employed as a graduate assistant in pharmacology at Penn State College of Medicine.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Robert and Kathleen Crampsie of Summit Hill. He s a 1996 graduate of Panther Valley High School. He earned a bachelor of arts degree in political science in 2003 from Kutztown University.He is employed by the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General.A wedding date has not been set.
