The American Red Cross offered a three-day CPR and First Aid class at the Tamaqua Salvation Army this week. Some of the instructions given involved life sustaining and saving techniques via hands-on training using adult, child, and infant size CPR dummies. Pictured, Tamaqua Salvation Army volunteer Mel Latham, left, of Lansford receives infant CPR instructions from local American Red Cross CPR & First Aid instructor and Tamaqua Salvation Army volunteer Bob Shirey of Tamaqua.
