The engagement of Lacey Jane Wells of Springville, Pa. to Joseph John DiGirolamo, also of Springville, has been announced by her parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jerry and Candy Wells of Springville; and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leon Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Wells, also of Springville. She is a 2006 graduate of Elk Lake High School and is currently attending Luzerne County Community College.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Joseph DiGirolamo of Allentown and Susan Bonner of New Ringgold. He is also the grandson of Rosa DiGirolamo and the late Henry DiGirolamo, and Jean Swartz and the late John Swartz, all of Tamaqua. He is a 2000 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School and a 2005 graduate of Penn State University. He is employed by the Milnes Company.A wedding is being planned for August 2010.
