Carbon burglary

State police at Fern Ridge are investigating a burglary that occurred at a Carbon County residence.

Troopers said the home of Maria Nuccio and Nathan Jeffries, located along Buckhill Rd., in Albrightsville, Penn Forest Township, was entered sometime between 2:10 and 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 17. Taken was several pieces of jewelry. Also missing are the victims' two dogs, a 22-month-old male Italian Mastiff, dark brindle with blue collar, and a 10-year-old Beagle, white/black with brown face and white stripe on the face. The Beagle also has a pink scar on the nose.

Troopers also reported on another burglary, this occurring in Monroe County. The residence of Chroline McFadden, 46, of 17 Highland Circle, Chestnuthill Township, was entered sometime between Oct. 5 and 7. Entry was gained through a locked garage door. Removed from the home was a laptop computer. The computer is a COMPAQ, model CQ60-419WM, serial number 2CE92269KN, valued at $1,300.
