Theft of golf cart probed in Carbon

The theft of a golf cart is being probed in Carbon County.

State police at Lehighton said Robert Taylor, 48, of Behrens Rd., Jim Thorpe, Penn Forest Township, reported a golf cart was removed from his property sometime between 11 p.m. on Sept. 29 and 2 a.m. on Sept. 30. The cart is valued at $2,500.

Troopers also reported on a criminal mischief incident.

Troopers said Steven James Warhurst, of 340 Covered Bridge Rd., in Kunkletown, Lower Towamensing Township, reported someone smashed thte right driver side window on his car while it was parked in the driveway of his home. The incident occurred sometime early Thursday morning, Oct. 1.
