Schuylkill planners approve two subdivision plans

Two subdivision plans were given final approval and three others received conditional approvals to make additional corrections, was the decision of the Schuylkill Planning Commissioner at its monthly meeting held Wednesday evening at the courthouse in Pottsville.

Jon C. and Patricia Leonard, Minersville, received approval to subdivide 0.118 of an acre into one lot fo create separate parcels for two existing single family homes. The area is zoned R-3 Multi Family Residential.Trent L. Stauffer with Gail S. and Joan A. Moyer, all of Washington Township, received final approval to subdivide 11.28982 acres into six lots for single family home in area zoned Agriculture.Conditional approval was granted three plans and given 90 days to complete them.Andrew J. and Christine M. Lukacsina, Frailey Township, seek to subdivide 0.17 of an acre into two lots for annexation in area zoned R-3; Carl J. Krause, Washington Township, to subdvide 67.8 acres into one lot for a single family home in area zoned Agriculture; and Integrated Gasification Combine Cycle Power Plant, Porter and Frailey Township, to complete plans for the power plant.The commission reviewed a number of proposed projects and had no comment as they comply with the overall county plan.East Brunswick Township plans amendment to its land and development ordinance; System Design Engineering on behalf of North Manheim Township, submitted an application to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection for a permit to install stormwater inlet on Greenview Road to improve drainage; DAWOOD Engineers, on behalf of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, is also seeking a permit from PADEP to mill and overlay approximately 1.25 miles of State Route 61 in Schuylkill Haven Borough and North Manheim Township; Greenman-Peteren Engineers on behalf of Shenandoah Valley School District is seeking a permit from PADEP to construct addition to the high school and elementary school buiding; and WJP Engineers, on behalf of H.and S. Investments, seeks a permit from PADEP to construct an extension to Tunnel Road in East Norwegian Township.The commission reviewed the subdivision plan submitted to West Penn Township Planning Commisison by Frank J. Bobick to annex a lot and had no comment.
