Police: Pa. man shoots 4 people outside party

LONG POND, Pa. (AP) - A man is charged with attempted murder and other counts after police say he shot four people outside a party in northeastern Pennsylvania.

Police say 22-year-old Dheklan "Dek" John had been involved in a fight at the home in Long Pond early Sunday morning.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police say four people were shot outside the house shortly before 1 a.m. Their conditions aren't being released.

Witnesses told police that John was the shooter. Officers later convinced him to turn himself in.

John, of Tobyhanna, is charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault and other counts.
