Hit-and-run crash probed in Schuylkill

State police at the Schuylkill Haven barracks are investigating a hit-and-run accident that was reported at 1:30 p.m. Friday along Township Route 392 in Poine Grove Township.

Police said an unknown vehicle traveling east on the road, Oak Grove Road, crossed over the westbound lane onto the shoulder of the road, where it struck a fence and continued for about 150 feet, knocking down the fence before traveling back into the eastbound lane.

The vehicle is described as a bluish-green-colored vehicle with a broken side mirroe on it. It is believed to be a Ford model.
