State police at the Fern Ridge barracks are investigating an aggravated assault incident that happened Saturday at 3:47 p.m. at 147 Grand Mesa Drive, Effort, Chestnuthill Township.

Police said during an argument over a past incident, a 20-year-old Effort man pointed a firearm at a 19-year-old Effort man. No names were revealed by police.
