Students and faculty at Lehighton Area High School donated more than 250 cans and boxes of food during their annual holiday food drive, organized by members of the school's National Honor Society. Members of the honor society visited homerooms each morning to request donations. These food items will be distributed to needy families in the area through the Trinity Food Pantry in Lehighton. The school also collected items for Toys for Tots, breaking their previous record for toys gathered despite hard economic times. From left, Jennifer Everett, Tim Sulzer, and Molly Harleman package donations before bringing them to the food pantry.
