The Tamaqua Area Water Authority has issued a water boil advisory for its customers in the Dutch Hill section of Tamaqua.

Due to a water main break on Sunday, Dec. 20, the authority is advising its customers in that area to boil their drinking water until further notice.

You should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, washing dishes, brushing teeth, and food preparation until further notice.
