Boy Scouts spread Christmas cheer

Boy Scouts from Troop 555, Penn Forest Township, spread some Christmas cheer recently as they decorated the Rau Personal Care Home in Penn Forest Township.

It is the eighth consecutive year the Scouts, joined by several area Girl Scouts, have decorated the facility for the holidays."Having always participated with the Scouts at this community service event, I must say that I continue to be impressed with the dedication and enthusiasm of the various Scouts who make it from year to year," said Scoutmaster Ray Attewell.In addition to decorating, the Scouts prepared and served hot chocolate and cookies, and sang Christmas Carols with the residents.
