A New Jersey resident is facing multiple charges, including felonies, for incidents in Monroe County.

Pocono Mountain Regional police said Stephen C. Angerson, 24, of Phillipsburg, rented a residence from Donna Drake, also of Phillipsburg, in the Arrowhead Lakes development in Coolbaugh Township.Police said he issued two checks to Drake totaling $6,000 which turned out to be bad. He was then evicted. When he left he allegedly stole $3,000 worth of household items.Angerson is charged with two counts of bad checks, misdemeanor ones; and one count each of theft (felony three), receiving stolen property (felony three), and theft by deception (misdemeanor one).
