Northern Lehigh School Board, on an 8-0 vote on Monday, with Director Debra Bower absent, took the following action:

• Accepted the resignation of Stephen Hluschak, Jr. from his position as head wrestling coach, effective Dec. 8, 2016, which was originally approved at the April 11 school board meeting. Hluschak accepted an athletic director position in the Stroudsburg School District.• Approved the motion to change the status of Scott Snyder from assistant wrestling coach to head wrestling coach, effective Dec. 8, 2016. Snyder's stipend for the 2016-17 school year will be $6,852.• Approved the motion to change the status of Nick Hosford from volunteer assistant wrestling coach to assistant wrestling coach, effective Dec. 8, 2016. Hosford's stipend for the 2016-17 school year will be $3,914.• Approved the resignation of Manny Guedes, from his position as middle school spring intramurals, weightlifting, which was originally approved at the Aug. 8, 2016 school board meeting, at a stipend of $854 for the 2016-17 school year.• Approved Matthew Davis as an assistant football coach for the 2017-18 school year at a salary of $4,744.• Approved Dylan Hofmann, middle school spring intramurals, weightlifting, for the 2016-17 school year at a salary of $854.• Appointed John Guelcher as a game worker for the 2016-17 school year. Game workers consist of ticket sellers and takers, game announcers, scoreboard operators, timers, field judges, and scorekeepers. The rate of pay is consistent with the rates approved on the 2016-17 Supplementary Personnel Salary Schedule.
