Tamaqua hosts annual summer festival

The excursions were part of the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, which is part of Reading Blue Mountain and Northern.Venders lined Broad Street and side streets, selling everything from custom-made jewelry and hand-painted glassware to funnel cakes and pork barbecue.

LISA PRICE/TIMES NEWS Richard Beltz and his daughter Emily, Still Creek, boarded the train as part of their Father's Day celebration. Car Attendant James Danner took their tickets and helped Emily climb the steps.
