"Dig Deeper - Mysteries in the Soil" is the theme for Carbon County Conservation District's annual poster contest.

Any Carbon County student can enter, and there are five grade categories: K-1, 2-3, 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. Students who win prizes locally may advance to state and national contests.Students are encouraged to use art to express their views on natural resource issues. The contest is co-sponsored by the Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts and the National Association of Conservation Districts.Entries must be received at the Carbon County District Office, 5664 Interchange Road, Lehighton by 4 p.m. Thursday, April 10.
