The Marian and Northwestern girls basketball teams continued their outstanding seasons with wins on Friday.

Marian was never challenged as they took care of business against Lake Lehman for the 40-17 non-league victory.

Sabrina Mertz led the Tigers (13-1, 8-1 CL) with a game-high 20 points. Trista Cunningham chipped in with 11.

The Falcons used some clutch foul shooting down the stretch by Meagan Eripret and pulled away for a 53-45 win over the Lady Bombers in a Colonial League contest.

Eripret scored 12 of her game-high 27 points in the fourth quarter.

Jade Farquhar finished with 18 points, while Abby Reimer and Madison Mummey added 11 and 10 for the Bombers.

For the Wreckers (1-10, 0-8 SL), Brett Kelly had 12, while Luke Reiner tallied 10.

Weathery won the JV contest 48-42.

For the Bulldogs (10-5, 7-3 CL), Josh Landsberger scored a game-high 22 points. Matt Egan also helped out with 16 points.

Dasheen Reid's first quarter three-pointers kept the Falcons (11-4, 8-1) in front and they pulled away in the second half to clinch a District 11 playoff berth with a 65-49 win over the Blue Bombers (1-12, 0-9).

Reid finished with a team-high 14 points, while Austin Uhl and Eddie Sanchez had 13 apiece.

Mark Quinn had a game-high 18 points and Spencer Hay added 10 more for the Bombers.
