The engagement of Taryn Solt to Justin Petersen, both of Palmerton, has been announced by their parents.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dean and Wanda Solt of Palmerton. She is a 2012 graduate of Lock Haven University where she earned a bachelor of science in psychology. She is currently a graduate student at LaSalle University where she is working toward a master of arts in professional clinical counseling.She expects to graduate in May.The prospective bridegroom is the son of Richard and Jan Petersen of Palmerton. He is a 2012 graduate of the University of Albany where he earned a bachelor of science in human biology. He is employed by Behavioral Health Associates.The couple is planning a wedding for the fall of 2015.
