Rush Township industrial park seeking tenant

With prep work nearly complete on lots 22-24, the TIDE Industrial Park, Rush Township, is ready for a tenant to take that last spot.

It's a good news, bad news kind of thing. During a meeting Thursday, members of the TIDE (Tamaqua Industrial Development Enterprises) board said that while it's great that the sprawling business park is nearly full, it's time to seek area tracts of land that have the potential for development. The newest TIDE tenant is the Presto Division of Reynolds Consumer Group, headquartered in New Zealand. Reynolds owns various plastics manufacturing firms in the U.S. and worldwide. About two months ago, Reynolds acquired TIDE park company, TransWestern Polymers.Presto joins TIDE businesses Fox Transportation, Gellner Industrial, Highwood USA, Silberline Manufacturing, Veolia Water North America-Central, Hy-Line North America and ELK Lighting. TIDE is seeking a single tenant for lots 22-24.TIDE has developed a video to promote the site, which shows the development of the site, which has been prepared to handle a 54,000-square-foot building.
