The meeting was held at the Tamaqua Municipal Building and saw the current slate of officers retained for 2014. Those officers are: Randolph Gormley, president; James Gormley, vice-president; and Shirley Becker, secretary.Board members and their terms of office are: secretary Becker, Dec. 31, 2018; Dr. Joanne Calabrese, Dec. 31, 2017; Earl Boettger, Dec. 31, 2016; James Gormley, Dec. 31, 2015; and Randolph Gormley, Dec. 31, 2014.The board will meet at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the Tamaqua Municipal Building, 320 E. Broad St., Tamaqua.Veterans helpA representative from the Disabled American Veterans will be available once a month at Tamaqua Borough Hall to offer free veteran's claim service for veterans as well as widows and dependent children of veterans. Information and assistance will be provided for service connected disability claims, low income pension, health care claims for service connected disabilities and low income veterans and other questions concerning veterans' benefits.The representative will be at Tamaqua Borough Hall, 320 E.
