Harrisburg - Peppermint, a Saanen dairy goat exhibited by Andrew Bowman of Slatington, Lehigh County won Best Doe in Show at the Junior Dairy Goat Show on Thursday, at the 2014 Pennsylvania Farm Show, Harrisburg.

Bowman of Jama Goats has proudly been showing goats for six years.Judge Jeff Kline of Crowley, Texas said "Unfortunately, it's an unusual time to show dairy goats because typically this time of year they are pregnant and not producing milk. However your supreme doe has exceptional depth of body and an impressive mammary system for this time of the year."In addition to Bowman's supreme, Crowley also placed a champion and reserve for seven other breeds.
