Meredith Hennessy, daughter of John and Margaret Hennessy of Minneapolis, Minn. was united in marriage to Christopher Bryfogle, son of Gary Bryfogle and Cathy and Gary Fies of Lehighton, on Aug. 30, 2013 at the Nicollet Island Pavilion in Minneapolis.

The ceremony took place at dusk, overlooking the Mississippi River and downtown Minneapolis skyline.Friends and family arrived in advance of the wedding to enjoy an extended weekend filled with activities, which included a welcoming dinner on a downtown rooftop patio, a guided trolley tour of Minneapolis and St. Paul and a groom's dinner at the historic Jax Café steakhouse.The day after the wedding, the couple reserved a riverside park where friends and family enjoyed food, games and boat rides on the Mississippi River, hosted by the bride's father.The bride's cousin, Jennifer Gottschalk of Minneapolis, served as the matron of honor.Bridesmaids included Heather Beugen of San Diego, Calif.; Lisa Reed of Chicago, Ill.; Sarvanaz Riahi of Los Angeles, Calif.; and Lyndsey Barrios of Minneapolis. Hossein "Nami" Namjoo of San Diego served as a bridesman.The junior bridesmaids were Lauren and Sophia Petrocelli of Allentown. Roscoe served as the ring bearer.Jeremy Gerber of Philadelphia and Michael Solt of Jim Thorpe served as co-best men. Groomsmen included Mike Reed, Michael Rampey and Pete Desmarais, all of Chicago, and the bride's brother, John Hennessy Jr. of Minneapolis.The bride attended the University of Minnesota for business management and marketing and the Aveda Institute where she studied aesthetics. She is currently employed by Envy Skin Clinic of Eden Prairie, Minn. where she is the clinic manager and cosmetic laser procedure consultant.Mr. Bryfogle graduated from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in supply chain management.He is currently employed by C.H. Robinson of Eden Prairie, where he is the director of North American warehousing operations.A 2014 honeymoon to Spain and Portugal is planned. Several pre-wedding parties were held in Chicago, Minneapolis, San Diego and Pennsylvania.An engagement dinner to honor the couple was hosted at "Melt" in Center Valley.
