A Lansdale man, who was cited for violating the rules at the campsite at Locust Lake State Park in Barnesville, Ryan Township, appealed the charge and when his hearing came up in Schuylkill County Court, he withdrew the appeal.

Judge James J. Goodman upheld the magisterial district judges ruling which had found him guilty of the charge.Roland Helmut Meuehleisen, 55, was ordered to pay a fine of $100 plus $102.50 in costs. He was cited for making excessive noise last June 30 at the designated time for quiet at the park.Three men who were found guilty of criminal charges following trials last October were sentenced to prison terms:Eddie J. Hardison, 33,of Sharon, who was found guilty by a jury last Oct. 13 of assaulting Denise Walton, of Girardvile, in the 200 block on N. Third St., Pottsville, was sentenced by Goodman to serve one to two years in a state correctional facility with credit for serving 175 days in the county prison and when released on probation to have no contact with the victim. Becker.Edward Allen Conapitsky, 46, Shenandoah, who was found guilty by a jury last Oct. 28 of burglary of the property at 15 Eliot St., West Mahanoy Township, owned by Christopher Petrylake, was sentenced by Judge Cyrus Palmer Dolbin to serve four to eight years in a state correctional facility. Conapitsky must also make restitution of $2,570 to the victim. He was cited by Township Patrolman Raymond Tonkinson III.Steven Allen Lucas, Hegins Village, Hegins Township, who was found guilty of recklessly endangering another person and two counts of simple assault to serve 18 to 36 months in the county prison with credit for serving 53 days. On a second count of recklessly endangering another person must serve an additional 12 months on probation.Waiving a second trial after the first ended in a mistrial, Robert James Fitzpatrick, 50, of Schuylkill Haven, pleaded guilty to escape imprisonment. He entered the plea to delivery of a controlled substance to a confidential informant in a tavern in Minersville and was placed by Judge Goodman in the Intermediate Punishment Program for 23 months with the sentence beginning Thursday, Jan. 2. The first nine months will be served on house arrest with electronic monitoring. He was cited by Minersville Patrolman Jeffrey Bowers.
