The Borough of Tamaqua's Street Department will continue removing snow from selected streets this Thursday and Friday.

Thursdays' schedule will include: Arlington Street, from Federal to Greenwood; Willing Street, from Clark to Market; Rowe Street, Berwick to Lehigh.The streets scheduled for Friday will include: Greenwood Street, from Broad to Arlington; Cedar Street Bridge and drains; various catch basins throughout town; Elizabeth Street, from Elm to Willing; and Clark Street, from Elm to Willing.Streets will be posted the day before snow removal operations are to begin. Workers may start anytime after 12:01 a.m., so motorists should be aware any parked vehicles will be subject to ticketing and towing.Schedules depend on work and weather conditions and are subject to change.
