No one was hurt in a two-vehicle crash at 2:40 p.m. Jan. 31 at the intersection of Market Street and Trolley Road in Blythe Township, Schuylkill County.
State police at the Frackville said the crash happened as several vehicles were stopped on southbound SR209 waiting for oncoming traffic to clear to turn left onto Trolley Street.
Police said a 2001 Toyota Celica operated by Joseph P. Harkins, 35, of New Philadelphia, traveling southbound, approached the rear of a 2006 Ford Mustang driven by Michael O. Hare, 23, of Barnesville.
Police said Harkins applied his brakes and the vehicle began to skid, causing its front-end to strike the rear of the Mustang.
No one was hurt in the crash. The Celica required towing from the scene.
Police said Harkins will be cited for causing the crash.
