The Carbon County Senior Centers will host the annual county picnic from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., on Aug. 27 at the Beaver Run Rod and Gun Club, Lehighton. The event is open to all county senior citizens.

There will be a picnic lunch, games and entertainment by Danny Farole.The cost is $6 and reservations are a must.Reservations can be made at any of the five senior centers or by calling the Area Agency on Aging at 800-441-1315.Registration deadline is Friday.
