Gusty winds, snow possible tonight

A cold front will cross through the region this afternoon.

The front will have frequent rain showers and gusty winds as it passes by. A few wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph are possible as the front passes through. Make sure to drive with caution if you will be travelling across the region. Water may pond on roadways so drive with extra caution during the heavy rains.

The rain may end as a brief period of snow or sleet early on Tuesday night. Light accumulations of up to an inch are possible, mainly in the elevated terrain. Some wind gusts of 40 to 45 mph may occur tonight.

Tonight Rain showers, snow showers, and sleet before 10pm, then a chance of rain and snow showers between 10pm and 1am. Low around 23. Blustery, with a northwest wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 39 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

Thursday Sunny, with a high near 51. Southeast wind 7 to 9 mph.
