Nesquehoning police

Nesquehoning police reported that officers issued three speeding citations on June 18 and one citation on June 20 for driving a tractor-trailer along Route 93 where it is not permitted.

Officers also cited two residents for allowing their grass to grow too long and the borough needing to cut the lawns. Bills for the services were also added onto the citations.

For the month of May, police collected $3,522.01, issued 109 citations, had 457 incidents reported to the department, investigated 12 crashes and drove 3,641 miles while on patrol.
