A Slatington driver is facing a charge of hit-and-run following an incident that occurred about 2:15 p.m. on Aug. 28 in the parking lot of Pickles Grille & Bar, at 3941 Chestnut St., in Upper Milford Township, Lehigh County.

State police at Fogelsville said Jamel Clark, 29, was operating a 2008 Jeep Liberty and backing out of parking stall at the above location when his vehicle struck a parked 2013 Hyundai Tuscan.Troopers said Clark exited his vehicle and inspected the damage to both vehicles before backing out of the stall completely.Clark then drove to the rear of the parking lot and parked his vehicle. He then returned to the struck vehicle and inspected the damage again before returning to his vehicle and leaving the scene.Clark was charged with accidents involving damage to unattended property and driving while under suspension, troopers said.
